After scouring tumblr page after twitter account after Facebook group for some kind of fanbase for Blood Red Road and the world of Saba, it somewhat stumped me that there seemed to be nothing.
Why was nobody talking about this staggeringly great book series, and even more importantly – did they want to, just like I did?
Well it wasn’t for lack of love for Saba and her friends (and enemies!) but instead because there was no base. Of course people wanted to interact with other fans – just like all fandoms do.
Jake Vineyard was seemingly feeling the same way and after he tweeted looking for fellow fans to set up a site with, I was eager to get on board. We planned and got in contact with Moira herself...
And thus Dustlands was born.
With this site we aim to discuss Moira’s work, explore characters in-depth, and of course – bring all the latest news surrounding the Dust Lands (book and movie) to you.
